Ho condemns "fan" behaviour

Mill United boss Milton Ho has slammed the behaviour of a fan who allegedly provoked a fight with one of the key players of Bryan Lau's WeAreUnited.

WeAreUnited midfielder Francis Durkan was arrested due to a fight with an opposing team supporter. Police have confirmed they received reports of an incident involving the player, just one day before True Reds' vital game on Tuesday.

Speaking to the official website, Ho said: "I hope, if there is any punishment for Durkan, the same should apply to the other idiot. Maybe he is getting paid to prevent Durkan from playing."

"The U-Soccer FA should do something about this, there should be some sort of investigation to see if anyone is behind this stupid and very dirty trick."

Boss happy with new signings

United boss Milton Ho has singled out his new signings, implying they could be key players for the forecoming season. Despite having yet to score, Ho is very impressed with Gilardino as he had a few on target attempts and helped the side to win their first game with an assist. Defender Kieran Richardbob also made his debut with an assist in the game against man at united, which they won 2-1 at the end.

"Things are going pretty well at the moment, it's funny that so far both of my new signings have made an assist on their debuts." said the United boss.

"If signing a new player can gurantee me at least a goal every game, maybe I should keep doing that until the end of the season!", the 23-year-old joked.

Record signing for Mill Utd

Mill United have broken the U-soccer transfer record to sign England International Kieran Richardbob for 1.08m econ.

The club's second signing of the season, which makes the New England star the most valuable player of all time in the league, smashes the previous transfer record of 901700 econ, that Wanchai Devils paid for midfielder Nikolaij Stalin on 5th April 2007.

Speaking at a news conference in London on Monday, Richardbob said the speed of the contract negotiations had impressed him.

"I'm glad I'm in a position to play for Mill United," said the 23-year-old England star.

"It is an honour for any player to play for them and I'm very happy."

"Milton (Ho) made contact with me on last Tuesday and by Sunday it (the deal) was finished. It was very quick."

United manager Milton Ho has made no secret of his desire to sign a defender and he has broken the club record in signing the English youngster.

"I am delighted to have signed him," said Ho.

"I have said for quite a while that we need a young and quality defender in this competition in order to survive. A four-stars rated defence is just not good enough, or not "special" as some may say, and hopefully Richardbob will be the special one that we've been looking for."

Richardbob is expected to go straight into the squad for tomorrow's game against man at united to make his debut and will be wearing the no.23 shirt.
